FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q:    How long is the season?

A:    For most teams the season runs from December until the following May.

Q:    How often do the teams practice?

A:    Most teams practice for 2 hours twice a week, usually in the evenings during the week, or on Sunday in the afternoon.

Q:    Where are the practices held?

A:    All practices are held in Frederick County, within 20 minutes of the city.  We currently use the following sites:

• TJ High School

• Tuscarora High School/Recreation Center

• Thomas More Academy

Q:    When are the practices held?

A:    Days and times for practices are different for each team.  Once the teams have been decided, the practice times and locations for each will be posted on the website.

Q:    What is the fee for each player?

A:    The fee for each player is $650.  This fee can change based upon the age group and number of tournaments.

Q:    What does the fee cover?

A:    The fee covers the following:

• FAVOR Registration

• Entry Fees for 8 Tournaments (Multiple day tournaments count as two tournaments)

• Uniforms

• Gym Rental

• Coaches Fees

• Security/Background Checks for Coaches

• Equipment

• Administrative Fees

The fee does not cover hotel costs for away tournaments.

Q:    Where are the tournaments located?

A:    Most tournaments are held in the local area:  Frederick, Columbia, Baltimore, Germantown, DC, Northern Virginia.  Multiple day/away tournaments typically are held in Virginia and Pennsylvania.  As the season progresses, the tournaments will be listed on the team page on this website.
