ALAN BLUMENAUER

Coach Blumenauer started coaching for FAVOR volleyball 10 years ago.  He has coached 12's, 14's, 16's, and 17's teams.  He has also assisted Tucarora's JV volleyball team and most recently, Tucarora's Varsity volleyball team. 

Alan recently attended a GoldMedalSquared coaching clinic taught by Olympic Gold Medalists and NCAA Gold Medal coaches.  He also has certification in Increased Mastery and Professional Application of Coaching Theory (IMPACT).

Coach Blumenauer has played competitive volleyball for 17 years.  He has played in indoor and outdoor tournaments and leagues including 2's, 4's, and 6's.  He lives in Frederick, Maryland with his wife, Cathy and daughter, Kristen.
