Coach Ray Brown has been playing and/or coaching volleyball for 25 years.  At age 34, his wife Janice introduced him to volleyball, he discovered quickly that he loved the sport and he has been playing ever since. 

In 2004 he played in the Maryland Senior Olympics, in the 50-55 age group, where his team took 1^st place. In 2005, his team participated in the National Senior Olympics in Pittsburgh where they placed 4th in the nation. 

This year will mark Ray's 10^th year coaching for FAVOR.  He has experience coaching girls from 12 to 17 years old.  He is IMPACT certified, and recently took the USA Volleyball Coaching Accreditation Program’s CAP I coaching course for CAP I certification.
