Meet Our Director of Summer Camps and Clinics!

Coach Nagy brings to FVBC years of coaching experience.  This past Fall, he retired as Head Coach at the Catholic University of America after 27 seasons.  During his time at CUA, he guided the Cardinals to back-to-back Capital Athletic Conference championships and NCAA tournament appearances in 2001 and 2002 with more than 500th career coaching victories. He was voted the CAC Coach of the Year in 1994, 1999, 2000 and 2001 and led the Cardinals to a school-best 38-3 mark in 2001.
After leading the team to a 35-6 mark in 2000,  Coach Nagy was named the Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. One of the most respected coaches in the game, he is one of just 26 coaches nationally to qualify for Level III of USA Volleyball's Coaching Accreditation Program at its Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  He has also passed the International Volleyball Federation Level III and USA Volleyball Coaches Association Program Level III certification exams. This certification qualifies him to coach international teams.
His knowledge, experience , enthusiasm and love for the game is a great addition to the FVBC Program. He currently coaches our 15 Elite team.
