Tryout Information

Please be sure to read all tryout information carefully before you begin the registration process. You must register for your age group according to the CHRVA age definitions. In the registration you will be able to indicate if you will be trying out for the level above also. Players only need to fill out one registration.

FVBC's policy for "playing up": For those players who want to try to play up an age level, the club requires that you have to make the top 6 players (the starting lineup) of that higher age level team. Players trying out up will need to try out for the National team in U14, U15, and U16. (There will only be a Regional U17/18 team.) Regional teams (with the exception of U12 and U13) will not have any players from a lower age group. Trying out for both age levels is necessary to be considered for the higher age playing group.

Registration Process

STEP 1: CHRVA MEMBERSHIP

All athletes interested in trying out with FVBC, must register with CHRVA and obtain either a Junior Membership or a Limited Membership for Tryouts. CHRVA membership must be renewed every year. Please click on the link below:

STEP 2:  FREDERICK VOLLEYBALL CLUB REGISTRATION

After completing CHRVA Region Tryout Registration

Document CHRVA membership number
Print or save a picture of your CHRVA membership card (Required for tryouts)
